We believe that most, and possibly all, college professors would agree that the cost of textbooks has risen dramatically and is a financial burden for many college students.  We have made every effort to try to keep the cost of our textbooks as low as possible.  We also believe that textbooks shouldn't drive the curriculum and that when humanly possible, the professor should be able to decide the content of the textbook.  That is how Sheepdog Publishing of Solano (previously, Lakeland) began and the mission that we continue to pursue.
